My Covid Cuddle Buddy

During the Covid pandemic, I lived alone and hadn't seen anyone in months. As the pandemic dragged on, I began to feel more and more isolated. I missed human touch and interaction. I had my groceries delivered and didn't venture out, except for a walk around the block. I began to crave meaningful human contact.

So I decided to find a 'Covid cuddle buddy' and create a pod to get some touch and affection and human interaction. I asked my friend Jarvis, who I knew was strictly isolating.

Jarvis was excited by the idea and we began to plan. We decided to meet once a week, outside, maintaining a safe distance. We created a 'pod' consisting of just the two of us. We would meet once a week to cuddle and talk. It was nice to finally have some human interaction again. The pandemic had been so isolating and lonely. At first, it was awkward. We both felt a bit like aliens, having been out of society for so long. We just sat and talked, but it was so good to see a familiar face and to talk to someone in person.

As the weeks went by, we began to get closer. We would sit closer together and sometimes hold hands, and sometimes cuddle. We would talk about everything and anything. The pandemic felt a little less lonely with Jarvis by my side.

Our cuddle sessions were therapeutic and helped me to cope with the stress of the pandemic. I was so grateful to Jarvis for being my cuddle buddy. It was nice to finally have someone to talk to and to share my worries with.

One day, we decided to take a walk together. It felt good to be out in the world with someone. As we walked, we talked about our dreams for the future. We both agreed that we wanted to travel more and see the world. We made a pact to travel together once the pandemic was over.

As the months went by, we continued to meet. The pandemic was tough, but we got through it together. And now, whenever we travel, we always think of our time together during the pandemic and how we got through it.
